There's no better way to spend a Sunday than perusing the papers over a leisurely brunch – and Shoreditch has a weekend dining scene to rival anywhere else in the capital. We've found the breakfasts to make a beeline for.  So lock yourselves in for hours of fun and enjoy the flowing fizz and delicious fayre of these top brunch venues recommended by our team. How do you like your eggs?

Lantana, 55 City Road, London EC1

Lantana prides itself on its seasonal menus with an Aussie influence but also celebrating cuisines from all over the world. It's very popular with vegans who tuck into the mushroom and avocado benedict drizzled with sriracha hollandaise, whilst the carnivores wolf down 'The Big Bubble' – bubble and squeak, caramelised onions and bangers.

You can enjoy unlimited mimosa cocktails and Prosecco provided your whole table takes part.

HotBox, 5-48 Commercial St, E1

Booze, blues, and slow-cooked meat. Prosecco flows while you enjoy dishes such as beef short rib tacos, crab sliders, and truffled egg toast.

This is indulgence at its best – add bottomless to the equation, and you have the ultimate brunch. Party, post acceptable brunch hours, in the basement cocktail bar, and listen to live DJ sets at the weekend.

Forge & Co, 154-158 Shoreditch High St, E1

This trendy co-working space has a restaurant which is the answer to all of your bottomless brunch dreams.
The menu is a simple brunch pizza, including all-day breakfast toppings and Nutella banana.

Guests can choose from a range of bottomless vermouth cocktails including white port and espresso as key ingredients. Simple, affordable, and delicious.

The Blue's Kitchen, 134-146 Curtain Rd, EC2

A live music and cocktail bar which heaves on Friday and Saturday nights with fans of blues, soul, and funk.

The vibe here is electric, but when the speakers are turned off, and the sunrises, it's equally as popular as a bottomless brunch menu venue with Prosecco and Bloody Mary's.

From a full English to buttermilk pancakes and Creole crab benedict, they know how to hit the spot. Paired with bottomless bubbles, and your day's off to a great start.

Ballie Ballerson, 97-113 Curtain Rd, London EC2

This is not your normal bottomless brunch venue! It's a ball-pit bar where you can lose your inhibitions.  Drink Prosecco and Pornstar martinis, eat pizza, and jump into the ball pit!  What's not to like?
