This is a quirky Lewis Carroll themed cocktail bar with several impressive awards under its belt - a must. You won't be served a Tom Collins or a Mojito here as the bar is inspired by Lewis Carroll’s nonsense poem ‘The Jabberwockey’. But it serves memorable cocktails nonetheless so start with a ‘Builder’s Breakfast’, three types of rum, lemon sherbet, and tea syrup. Curious.

Nightjar
This speakeasy-style bar serves stunningly presented drinks to the tune of live jazz and swing music in true 1920s style. A hidden, underground haunt offering a delightful selection of bar snacks and small plates to share with friends. The star of the show at Nightjar, is its wonderful cocktail The Hennessey Fish-House Punch: a delightful cherry beer foam and cherry liqueur. At the same time, the Sao Paulo Swizzle offers a tangy punch in Empirical Spirits and geranium agave, every drink here is an artistic masterpiece to be marvelled before your lips even touch the glass.

Black Rock
Recognised as Shoreditch’s best whiskey bar, this award-winning bar is renowned for its specialist offerings. With hundreds of fine whiskeys available, its statement oak tree table running down the middle of the seating area, has been riveted with two tunnels filled which whiskey can be poured directly from taps at the end - a showstopper!

Tonight Josephine
This funky and bright Shoreditch cocktail bar with classic crowd-pleaser cocktails, make this bar a dream for Instagrammers. Aperol Spritz, Long Island Iced Tea, Pisco Inferno served in a disco ball, make for a great night.

Happiness Forgets
Taking pride in a quiet basement setting, this bar shouldn’t be mistaken for anything less than exceptional. Serving quality favourites like Negronis and Espresso Martinis, alongside some more unusual choices, this intimate bar offers a vibrant yet cosy vibe with lively music spanning the various decades and its friendly attentive bar staff. Perfect for a romantic evening or a catch up with friends.
