Completed in 2018, the award-winning Hoxton Press N1 forms part of a comprehensive masterplan for Hackney Council's estate regeneration programme to redesign the neighbourhood.
Where is Anthology Hoxton Press located?
Anthology Hoxton Press stands at the corner of Penn Street and Bridport Place, N1, on the edge of the 1960s Coleville Estate and Shoreditch Park in East London.
What is the history of Hoxton Press?
Hoxton Press was home to a paper manufacturing company owned by the Mullord Brothers who produced paper products including lace paper greeting cards and playing cards from the 1860's to early 1900's. As a nod to its history, the developer, Anthology, has named the towers after printmaking techniques, ‘Mono' and ‘Duo'.
What are the architectural highlights?
Comprising two distinct hexagonal towers, 20 and 16 stories respectively, one tower boasts a grey brick façade, while the other has a bright red exterior. The buildings feature spacious balconies and floor-to-ceiling windows offering stunning city views.
